Dots copy idea in new TV ad

dots1
I like these cookies, they leave a swell taste in my mouth! But I’m not a fan of the fact that they are basically Oreos with another name. One other thing I came to notice about this product that didn’t make me more of a fan, is the TV ad. Check it out on YouTube, they have managed to copy someone else’s work in this area also. Shame! They remade a music video from SOUR and now they’re getting credits for it.

Logorama

logorama

If you haven’t seen this animated short you should. Whether you are digging logos or not, this is a really fascinating and funny film anyone would enjoy. This was my favorite nominee in the “best animated short film” category in this years Oscars, and not surprisingly it won the award - congrats.

Logorama, written and directed by H5 / Francois Alaux, Hervé de Crecy and Ludovic Houplain. Now nominated for a Best Animated Short Oscar, Logorama takes place in a world full of corporate and brand logos (in which roughly 2,500 appear), and it follows a few different stories that all intertwine with one another. Honestly, it’s bloody brilliant, and I guarantee it’ll be the best thing you watch all week…

Ingenious music video

This video from OK Go is spot on, super timed and also in sync with the music. It’s so impressive, and creative projects like these are a so much better alternative for music videos than what we usually see. I also love the whole crazy-colorful-design look OK Go uses in their projects!

Adobe Photoshop Cook

This was a Vimeo Staff Pick over at vimeo and I can see why. The audio might be a bit heavy after a while, but considering the effort put into this it deserves all credit. Super creative, makes me want to eat cookies!

Greatest tee design stop motion

This video has traveled the web since it was made not so long a go by Rhett&Link. I love the whole graphic design-video genre and this is a great example.
