Winter olympics - 86 years of poster design

The winter olympics started off in 1924 in Chamonix, France. Now, 86 years later, the olympic games is currently being hosted in Vancouver, Canada, and lots have changed. The different identities for the 21 games that have been are a great example on how design trends develop through time. Personally I prefer the posters from the 20’s-50’s. The ultra modern Adobe Photoshop CS2-look Vancouver has is also good design, but there is something about the hand-made oldies with no use of advanced technology that I really appreciate. Check them all out and make up your own opinion.

Crazy pavement art

I’ve seen this kind of 3d perspective chalk drawings before, but these pieces by Edgar Mueller is just beyond everything. I would love to see a video from the site moving to another angle to see what it would look like…

Adobe Photoshop Cook
This was a Vimeo Staff Pick over at vimeo and I can see why. The audio might be a bit heavy after a while, but considering the effort put into this it deserves all credit. Super creative, makes me want to eat cookies!

Greatest tee design stop motion
This video has traveled the web since it was made not so long a go by Rhett&Link. I love the whole graphic design-video genre and this is a great example.
